Similarities between twin flame and incubus soul ties?

Hi, I have an incubus and I'm sure that he has been appearing to me for possibly my entire life, we are quite close and for awhile I thought he was my twin flame due to our deep bond, I am wondering everyone's opinions on the similarities (and differences) between incubi and twin flames.

My opinion is that are different, but that's not a bad thing. I think if twin flames are all about spiritual development and the stages of separation & union, reincarnation too, incubi are all about passion, personal freedom and growth.

I also wonder, with how close I am to my incubus, why him, why do we connect so well, etc. It makes me think incubi can be similar to soulmates (but not the same thing)
