The Cake That Took Me Three Tries to Perfect
ngl this cake humbled me real quick. first try? straight up disaster. looked cute going in, came out like a sad pancake with commitment issues. second try i thought i had it nope. somehow even worse?? dry, crumbly, emotionally offensive.
by the third round i was lowkey beefing with flour. but i slowed down, actually read the recipe (wild concept, i know), measured stuff properly, didn’t freestyle like a baking god.
and bro… it worked. like actually worked. soft, fluffy, legit bakery vibes. i just stood there staring at it like “so this is what success feels like huh.”
ate half of it immediately btw. no regrets.
moral of the story: baking will break your ego before it feeds you. but if you stick with it… you get cake. and honestly that’s enough motivation for me.
