Hey everyone! Long-time lurker, finally made an account and honestly, this week's premiere was worth breaking my silence for.

A bit about me before I get into it: I've been into anime for about 5 years now, mostly hooked on isekai and shonen, but lately Mushoku Tensei has completely taken over my watchlist.

So Japanese fans voted Season 3 the most anticipated anime of Summer 2026, and the July 4th double-episode premiere backed that up. Studio Bind opened the whole season on Eris at the Holy Land of Swords instead of jumping straight back to Rudeus, and it paid off. Her swordplay animation was incredibly fluid, and watching her grind under Gal Farion (with that rivalry against Nina) gave me actual goosebumps. You can feel how much she's fighting to become someone Rudeus can stand beside again.

With Episode 3 dropping this Sunday (back to Rudeus' side of the story), I wanted to ask:

* How did you feel about opening the season with Eris instead of Rudeus?
* LN readers did the adaptation hit the way you expected?
* What's everyone else currently watching this season?

Also curious where everyone's tuning in from always love finding out how global this fandom actually is 🌍

New here, and Mushoku Tensei Season 3's Eris premiere was the perfect excuse to finally post
