TV Remote & Volume (already tried volume down + control center)

So for whatever reason, my tv volume button either barely works or doesn't work at all. I've charged the remote, but I don't see the light at the top light up anymore. The remote works fine for everything else, b ut today has started not working at all for volume, no matter how many times I connect and disconnect my remote, and adjust the remote volume control settings.

Please help! I haven't found any other suggestion than what I've tried.
