Movie recommendations for an 8 year old?

My son wants to watch his first “official” horror movie with me. So far, the only scary movies we’ve seen together is Five nights and Freddy’s 1 and 2 and Killer Klownz from Outer Space.
Although he did see Back rooms with his father, he feels he did not get the full experience as he kept having to sneak away to the restroom, as he was getting too scared 🫠
Now he is wants a new experience with me, but I’m not sure what is a good appropriate horror film to introduce him to. Any recommendations help!
