Did your BC tame your period flu?

I’ve been fighting period flu for YEARS and finally got prescribed Yasminelle for continuous use.

My symptoms, every. single. month: low-grade fever, headache, sore throat, aching joints. Like clockwork.

I’m only at the start of my second pack — and I was JUST about to celebrate. The week before my “potential period” came and went and the flu didn’t hit. I actually let myself hope. And then, right on cue at the tail end… it got me anyway. 😭

I’m bedridden, wiped out, and honestly kind of heartbroken.

So please, someone tell me — did continuous BC ever tame your period flu? And how long did it take before it actually worked? I need to know it gets better.
