68 hours in CT
Hello! I don’t usually post but have been encouraged by a few post in this community.
Background: 6.5 years ago I quit a brutal H, Fent, and meth addiction CT on the living room floor. Intermittent medical assistance from family but otherwise just prayed, pleaded, and pushed. I am a Christian and let me tell you, I encountered Jesus that day. Withdrawals still occurred but the desire was gone. The burnt hand learns best. Anyway, FREEDOM and my life came together piece by piece by the grace of God.
Fastforward to two years ago. I’m married, stable, things have come together in a beautiful way. It’s around holidays and social anxiety began to peak among other stressors. I picked up a feel-free. Boom. All the neural pathways just opened back up. Hooked. Began picking up more and yada yada went downhill. Quit CT after about 6 months of powder usage of about 30gpd. Went through the hell with little medical assistance or supplementation. Turned a corner day 5. Was no where near the hell I went through withdrawing several years ago.
Fast forward a couple months ago. Stressor pick up, I want relief. I picked up a Kratom drink and boom. Same thing. Now I’m two months in to about 20 g a day that varies.
I’m at 68 hours kratom-free. This time I did a protocol. Here’s my stack:
-liposmal vit c (3,000 mg/ 2 hours)
-GABA supplement otc
-Ashwaghanda with theanine
-BSO 3x daily
-calm magnesium w/ theanine at night
-workout every morning followed by clean protein shake
-i already drink AG1 so continued this
-Whole Foods, minimal sugar
-lots of water with minerals
-Imodium as needed
These wipes out majority of symptoms. RLS and insomnia was after 48 hours. Seems better today so far.
-prescibed klonopin for breakthrough anxiety, taking sparingly
Almost dosed middle of the night after tossing painfully, but I prayed overcame the temptation. Fell asleep shortly after that.
Meditated on Psalm 143 and found great relief in the kindness of Jesus when we suffer. Be an overcomer. You got this. Praying for yall no matter where you’re at in your quit journey.
