Engine Shutdown Detection

Question

So I’m up and running with my new LiFePO house (x2 110Ah Epochs) and AGM start battery thanks to the help here. I’ve got a victron DC2DC charger, new MPPT (for charging the house batteries only), and shunt to keep and eye on everything.

2 questions have come up that would be very helpful for the health of the system and I’d love input and feedback:

  1. Engine detection works great when I am motoring (sailboat) and then switch it off. However, when plugged into shore power, the DC2DC doesn’t automatically detect this and so I need to manually go in and shut this setting off to allow the shore power to charge the house batteries. Does anyone have known min voltage levels I can input so that the shore power will basically look like and engine running to the DC2DC? (I’d love to keep this setting on and not manually have to remember to change it for a host of reasons)

  2. Less important is the shunts calibration for 100% SOC. My Bluetooth connection to my batteries tells a very different tale than the shunt does and got me into trouble recently. The shunt basically always says 100% SOC even when the house batteries drop to <50%. Can I calibrate what 100% SOC looks like to the shunt when I am at a know 100% SOC? (Via the epoch BT dashboard)?

Thanks!
