There are a few subreddits thats totally taken over by spam, promotion to 3rd party websites

I have tried to report about the subreddits before and even did a modmail as well, but I only received bot replies to them. Even the official Reddit report form didn't really do anything till now. The problem is that spammers are even using different accounts to promote it, so there's no easy ban-and-forget option as well. In the unmoderated subs, where the moderators are inactive (I tried reaching out to them via DM), there are even 4-5 posts a day till reddit filters some.

I am not sharing more details or the subreddit as per rules here, but I'm really hoping to get a dialogue going as it would be pretty obvious for a human to see what's going on and how it's not a one-time self-promotion, but done multiple times on multiple unmoderated subs.
