Help with boot lock

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a 2010 Mazda 2 1.3.

The issue im having is the boot(trunk) won’t unlock when you unlock the car with the key fob.

It does unlock if you use the key in the door lock.
Am I being stupid or is something wrong ?
