Still bleeding

I posted a couple days ago about my wound opening up slightly. Well I’m on day 3 of nonstop slow blood oozing out of my wound post staple removal. I’m replacing a 2”x2” sterile gauze every few hours. No pus, redness or fever. It started bleeding a couple hours after they removed my staples Tuesday. I applied pressure and kept gauze on it. It was still bleeding Wednesday night so I tried to go to urgent care and they directed me to the ER. The ER doctor was surprised urgent care couldn’t handle it, applied some steri strips, and sent me on my way. They told me to replace the steri strips if they got saturated, so I did. They used medical glue, I didn’t so mine aren’t staying. They did advise me that they wouldn’t put stitches in it in order to not introduce a possible point of infection to the incision.

I called my doctor’s office this morning and she’s still on medical leave so they can’t help me. I called the office that removed my staples (where I had a bad experience with them being really dismissive). The doctor isn’t in today but they called me back and said apply pressure and if there are any signs of infection to go back to the ER.

I’m so sick of this. I’ve reduced my activity to the absolute bare minimum. I’m only getting up to go to the bathroom and to transfer between the couch and the bed. I don’t want to do anything to aggravate it but rest and pressure aren’t doing anything. I literally held pressure on it for 45 minutes and it went right back to oozing when I let off.

I realize it’s a relatively minor complication compared to what I could have but I just want to be able to move freely. I’m 2wpo today and I thought I’d be moving more by now. I was doing really well when things were still stitched up. My back hurts from being on my back for the better part of 2 weeks and barely getting to stretch it now because I just want this wound to close. I have a wedge pillow and an under knee pillow and a maternity pillow and a hysterectomy pillow. None of it is letting me be truly comfortable. Once this stops bleeding for a day or so, I’m planning to baby myself back into some activity - at least puttering around the house every couple of hours like I was. I’m getting no guidance from doctors on what to do other than just keep slow bleeding. I don’t know what else to do at this point. The ER points me to my doctor and my doctor points me back to the ER.
