Ezekiel peers through a hole in the wall/ at sins that people think that God doesn’t see/

And God sees.

Peeling back layers he comes to a door/ seeing grotesque images inside their gallery.

The woman gather around to pray to Tammuz/ who dies in the summer and gets revived in the spring/ All while old and young kneel to pray to the sun/ hoping that it may rise again in the east.

Elijah sees her eunuchs all gathered around/ as Jezebel appears on her balcony ledge/ Jehu calls up to the servants to have them throw her down/  to the dogs in the street that are starving to death.
