Resort Weekend I’ll Never Forget

I don’t think I’ll ever have the courage to tell anyone this in real life.
A few months ago, my husband’s office organized a weekend stay at a really beautiful resort. Families were invited, but since I hardly knew anyone from his office, I spent most of my time relaxing in our room.
The weather was amazing. The balcony overlooked hills and greenery, and I was standing there with a beer from the minibar, enjoying the cool breeze. I had changed into just my underwear with a loose hotel sleepwear over it because I didn’t expect anyone to notice me.
Then I looked to my left.
My husband’s boss was standing on the neighboring balcony, smoking. He smiled, waved, and started talking to me. We chatted for a few minutes before he jokingly asked if I wanted to try what he was smoking. He admitted it was weed.
I’d never tried it before.
Curiosity won.
I debated changing into proper clothes, but he had already seen me in my sleepwear, so I walked over wearing the same thing.
He welcomed me with a hug that lasted just a little longer than it should have.
We stood on his balcony, passing the joint back and forth, sipping beer, laughing about random things. I could feel myself relaxing more with every minute.
At one point he stepped closer.
Close enough that I could smell the smoke mixed with his cologne.
His hand brushed against mine, then stayed there.
Neither of us moved away.
He looked at me for a second before leaning in and kissing my neck. I froze, but I didn’t stop him.
His hands slowly slipped around my waist, pulling me against him. I could feel my heart racing as he gently slid the hotel sleepwear off my shoulders. He kept kissing my neck while his hands wandered over my body, asking softly if I was okay.
I whispered yes.
From there, everything happened so quickly. We crossed a line I never imagined I would.
It ended with us having sex on the balcony, hoping no one would look outside at the wrong moment.
I’ve never told my husband. No one from his office knows either.
Sometimes I convince myself it was just alcohol, curiosity, and bad judgment.
Other times, I still remember every second of that evening far more vividly than I probably should.
