Weird saving issue in Obsidian

I recently moved my Journal into Obsidian. The titles for my original journal entries were in lowercase so I was going through changing each note title to mixed-case (I only have around 100 entries). Everything was going fine but after a while my changes stopped updating. The titles would change and revert after a few seconds.

I tried moving my journal to another location but it didn't help. Then I tried changing the title and it saved. For example; I had a note called 'I bought a new dog'. When I changed that to mixed-case it didn't save. But when I changed it to 'Today I bought a new dog' - it actually saved!

Has anyone had this issue before? It's probably some kind of caching issue.

A few things to note:

I am not using any synch.

I am not using any plugins or themes.

I am saving my journal in an external SSD.
