Idea Validation : Building an AI platform that runs the entire global sourcing workflow and learns which suppliers are actually reliable, would love honest feedback
I’ve been building something to fix how broken B2B sourcing still is. Right now, buying from suppliers means juggling ~8 disconnected things: finding suppliers, vetting them, emailing back and forth, negotiating price and lead time, arranging payment, sorting freight and customs, checking quality, tracking it all. No single place does this, and nobody’s accountable when it breaks.
So I’m building an AI tool that runs the whole workflow end to end you say what you need in plain language, and it finds suppliers (vetted behaviour monitored like is the supplier on time , product quality, quality of service, etc.), reaches out and negotiates over email or phone, and pulls the messy quotes into a clean comparison, and coordinates payment and delivery through existing providers (so I’m not holding money or running trucks).
The part I’m most interested in: because the tool sees the whole transaction, it can build something no supplier directory has, real data on which suppliers actually deliver on time, at quality, repeatedly. Not a “verified” badge someone paid for, but proof earned from real orders.
There’s an early working version live now. Before I go deeper, I want honest feedback from people who actually source:
**1.** What’s the most painful part of sourcing/procurement for you today?
**2.** Would you trust an AI to reach out and negotiate with suppliers for you — why or why not?
**3.** Is “which suppliers are actually reliable” data you’d genuinely value, or do you already have a way to know?
Not selling anything. Happy to drop a link in the comments if you want to try it.
