What's the medical process like?

I recently received a Tentative Offer Letter after scoring Best Qualified on the ATSA, and I'm really excited. Unfortunately, I also recently found out that my psychiatrist currently has me listed with a provisional diagnosis of bipolar disorder.

I also have a history of generalized anxiety/depression and have treated high blood pressure.

Has anyone here, or someone you know, successfully made it through the FAA medical process with a similar psychiatric history? Did the FAA request additional evaluations or records, or was it an automatic disqualification?
