Can I get some December travel recommendations?

I (23M) am from the east coast of the US, and will be visiting family in Ireland during thanksgiving this year. I have 5 days of PTO to burn, and I had the idea to go somewhere in North Africa or Asia from November 30th-December 7th before heading home since I’ll be much closer than I am now. Please let me know what you think of some of these ideas and drop some recommendations for someone that’s never been farther east than the Balkans (or west than Hawaii). I love cities and the outdoors, I’m open to anything.
