Was I right to suggest I go home if my husband wanted to see his friends?

He said he’ll only go if I want to, I don’t really have much to talk about with them and end up just listening so I said he can go and I’ll go to my mums for the night.

It was either that or we both go get dessert but he ended up just stalling until it was too late for either.

He said I could’ve had dessert at the pub but I just don’t want to hang out with 3-4 other guys for the sake of it and rather see my mum.

He said it’s not an option. I don’t know if I should’ve just gone but part of me feels I don’t really need to be there every time, especially if the friend’s partners aren’t there.
