From a lore perspective. Why are we not going nuts because Xal went into Azeroth?

So in the quest you see her and the void go down. Presumably into Azeroth, but since then it feels like there isn’t a big push into chasing after her. It almost feels like, oh well that’s bad. Anyway, let’s go explore this island east that’s been shrouded in mist.
