I got sexually harassed twice in the span of an hour

This all happened 2 days ago, but I can’t get the disgusting feeling away. I feel violated and I’ve found myself avoiding going outside.

I was on my way to my boyfriends house, the tram stop happened to be extremely full so I wasn’t totally aware of everything that was going on around me and I had my AirPods in. I live in a very safe city and in one of the safest areas of it, so usually this would in no way be a problem. I was wearing jeans and a basic white tee (not that it matters). A man got behind me and basically groped me, I was shocked and all I could get myself to do was tell him “Please don’t touch me” he smirked and left on a arriving tram. This already made me feel very scared, but for some reason I didn’t do anything about it and just wanted to get to my boyfriends house ASAP to tell him.

When I got off of the tram, he came to pick me up at the stop and we began walking to his house. We got to the final street and I noticed there was a group of 5 guys around our age (18-20, maybe a bit younger). Because I was with my boyfriend I didn’t feel the need to cross the street. When we passed them, they began yelling disgusting sexual things at me. At that point, I had began crying and just dragged my boyfriend away as fast as possible. They were trying to provoke him, yelling stuff like “You’re not going to stand up for the girl bro?”, like they weren’t the ones harassing me. Ofcourse I didn’t want him to get involved in any way, because I wanted to get away as fast as possible and there were 5 of them.

When we got home, he wanted to call the police but I just wanted to forget about it and I knew nothing would probably be done with it anyways. We cuddled for the rest of the evening and it made me feel a lot better.

Now I just feel disgusting. Ever since then I’ve been kind of scared to go out. Today i went to send off a package and had to take my dog with me to even get myself to leave the house. Its honestly a horrible feeling.
