I (21M) may have accidentally given my gf (20F) a concussion during consensual kinky sex. How do we proceed?

Last night, my girlfriend and I were having rough sex, something that we communicate about a lot and are on good terms when it comes to consent. We noticed that we had the apartment to ourselves and both agreed to go a lot rougher to take advantage of not having to be quiet.

We’re both quite well accustomed to and consenting of me slapping her hard during sex, but this time things got out of hand. We think I accidentally hit her too high so the point of contact was higher than her face, thus hitting a more critical part of her skull.

Following, she was tired, weak, nauseous and foggy in the mind. She also exhibited some pretty extreme emotional bouts that she told me felt out of her control. Today (2pm), she continues to feel these same symptoms, although to a slightly lesser extent. I think I might’ve given her a grade 1 concussion.

Today, we’ve both been talking extensively with each other about what happened and how it was a mistake for me to get rough to the point of such recklessness. We’ve both taken the day off so I can take care of her. Despite my encouragement, she is refusing to go get herself checked by a doctor out of embarrassment around the situation, which I understand. However, I’m still very worried about her not getting medically checked, because every online source says that getting concussion symptoms checked is imperative.

I would never intend to actually hurt her beyond the scope of our shared kink. I don’t know how else to proceed other than to be by her side, give her food and water, comfort and monitor her. I’m not seeking medical advice from this sub, but if anyone has any advice or similar experiences of accidentally injuring their partner, I would really appreciate if you shared.
