Please help any advice??

So in my day job I’m a crisis nurse I recently got a position as an ADHD assessor around six months ago.
I work Locum, I’ve made a few documentation errors for example I backdated a few reports mainly because I would type the reports while listening to my patient.

I would then structure the report after the assessment, then I’d do the assessment on the template that they provided , so I would often end up completing the report the day after and just backdate the report to they day before.

I didn’t know that was an issue because in my day job I’ve backdated notes or I finish notes the day after and it’s never been an issue.

Second issue is I did an assessment and the assessment had already been half completed prior to this by a different assessor so I message my manager and I said can I use the previous assessors notes in my report?

She said yes that’s fine. I’ve never used emis before so instead of clicking new report. I clicked edit report my mistake but what ended up happening is, it changed the previous report so it looked like I’d just edited that report and used it as my own which wasn’t done on purpose.

Anyway I thought they would just sack me instead they’ve suspended my account and now I have a fact finding meeting on Monday.

I’m really worried is this gonna go to the NMC? I actually really like the ADHD job? I’m very thorough with my assessments. I get really good feedback from all my patients and anyone thats shadowed me has said that I conduct really thorough and great assessments.

I’m just wondering why they aren’t just sacking me and why they’re going through the whole process of fact finding as I’m locum wouldn’t itJust be easier to sack me?

I’m unsure whether I should just resign before the meeting on Monday obviously I’d love to keep the job but what’s the likelihood that will happen ?

when they emailed me They said there’s lots going on in the background with HR and that’s why it’s taking them so long to arrange a fact-finding meeting, I’m so worried what should I do?

To add to this I actually got my own ADHD diagnosis last week so now everything’s making sense.
