I gave my Tim Hortons mug catalog OpenSea-style trait filtering and rarity ranks
I collect Tim Hortons mugs and run a small catalog site (timmiesmugvault.ca). This week I rebuilt the browse page to work the way NFT collectors explore collections: a trait rail (era, base color, accent color, form factor, language...) where every value shows a live count and scarcity %, the grid reshapes instantly as you toggle, and every mug gets a computed rarity rank from actual trait frequencies — no hand-waving, it's information-content math over the collection, so ranks update automatically as mugs get added.
Favorite detail: on any mug's page, its traits are clickable — "Base Color: red · 25%" drops you back into the catalog filtered to red mugs. That loop is weirdly addictive.
Catalog's small (20 verified mugs) so if you've got Timmies mugs lying around, scans are how it grows. Happy to answer anything about the rarity math.
