>!After the chaos the community has gone into after the new mew mew dialogue, so I wanted to throw my hat into the ring of discussion. To start, this is based on the assumption that the forgotten man is Kris's old therapist, the Knight is fear embodied, December is the Roaring Knight, and that device theory are all true to some degree. Before you judge me at this theory, please be respectful and understand I know this is a bold theory, none are perfect, and I just wish to share to know how other people feel about it, so here it is:!<

>!Many in the fandom are aware that Catti and Kris studied in the occult together, and that they summoned a demon. The point that I'm trying to make is that this is ERAM, was this demon, and that they made this first fountain, the one that caused Kris's trauma, ruined Asgore's life, and Dess go missing. The poor children, Kris, Dess, Catti, Asriel, and possibly Noelle (who they are is still heavily up for debate but Kris and December for sure) entered this dark world and/or performed the satanic gaster whatever the hell the roots ritual in the forest south of town, leaving Dess a shattered and lost girl, the vessel for ERAM. Asgore saves Kris and whoever else is there but is unable to get Dess.!<>!!<

>!Dess Knight is by far the most popular interpretation of the Knight's identity in the fandom, but it just has never really sat right with me, like how does a teenager girl tear open up her ribcage without dying, shapeshift, teleport and fly, and get into the bunker so fast we can't see them? Well if she's just a vessel ERAM could do this easily enough.!<

>!Now how does Kris and the player tie into this? If ERAM is the big bad who killed or possessed December why is Kris working with the Knight? Well, we know that whatever happened traumatized Kris badly, that they had violent tendencies, and that they had to go to therapy with the forgotten man for what happened behind the tree. Since ERAM knew what happened couldn't come to light ERAM threatened using IMAGE\_FRIENDS, it's (yes that's plural the sword route and different colored Friend's confirm this as of now with the normal pink and yellow ones, the one inverted one, and the red one that bites us in chapter five) Kris not to say anything. Kris might of made a deal with ERAM despite not wanting to and was forced to take the soul for something we don't know of yet.!<

>!In the shitshow that's the Mike room in chapter four, the theories Mike is a microphone, Mike is a cowboy (woody theory), and Mike is FRIEND are deconfirmed. So who is he then? He's ERAM. ERAM was the one who caused the shenanigans with Spamtom and the dialogue where Kris threatens Spamtom happens when he's about to talk about the Knight. Spamtom was given his power that he wasn't supposed to have in the story from ERAM, and when he crossed paths with Tenna, an important character, ERAM backed out leaving the Email guy to fall from stardom. On another note, ERAM is also the one with the shadow crystals then, as the bat the knight has is made of them, so they most likely left them in Cyber City, the Field of hopes and Dreams, and the Sanctuary for the respective secret bosses.!<

>!I didn't want to talk about Gaster's role, but since Camellia accidentally confirmed everything we speculated with him as the narrator, I feel the need to. I believe Gaster is the writer of the prophecy and understands the roles each character plays and makes sure things follow the linear story path the game is set to go on from the DEPTHS. We are connected to the game through the SOUL and Kris's deal. Gaster is most likely working with ERAM to some degree in the shelter but to what degree is all speculative.!<

Please let me know your thoughts and obviously massive spoilers for this game. Kudos! (PS all the photos at the top are off the web)
