Starting to string

How difficult is it to start? I understand there are many different types of machines at different price points. Some for a few hundred and others up to 5-10k.

I am not looking to start a business, however, the stringing costs are starting to add up. I need 1 racket strung about every month of my own, and I have 4 family members that each need strings every 2-3 months.

Additionally, I have maybe 5 friends that would more than likely bring me a racket every month for $20.

Is it worth the time and money investment?
