Keyboard not working after switching from controller

I'm playing Slyrim SE on the SD and switched from controller setting to keyboard. I wanted to have an easier time putting in a command prior to switch back. After I made the switch, it was as if my keyboard decided it wasn't going to work anymore in-game. The only thing that works is the key to bring up the console. I can't even open up the main menu to switch back. As a note, the mouse and keyboard work perfectly fine on steam, it's just in game that is causing problems.

Now my game is stuck in limbo without being able to do anything. Does anyone have a solution?
