Will Mfg/Ops experience + SuiteFoundation cert get my foot in the door?

Hi. I'm a former manufacturing business owner and operations lead wondering about pivoting to NetSuite focused roles for work. I have several years of daily, hands-on experience using NetSuite on the floor to manage workflows, but I have never worked on the backend as an administrator. If I couple my real-world supply chain, inventory, and BOM (Bill of Materials) experience with a SuiteFoundation cert, will consulting firms or end-users take me seriously for entry/mid level roles, or will the lack of IT experience freeze me out? A recruiter said it would help, but I'm looking for more confirmation before I invest time and money. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
