Collectors with 200+ minis — how do you actually keep track of what you own and what it's worth?

Serious question. Between OOP models, edition changes, and inherited armies, I'd genuinely struggle to say what half my collection is worth. Spreadsheets die after a week. Photo albums don't capture value. Insurance would have no idea what to pay out if my case got stolen.

What's your system — if any?

Full disclosure: I got frustrated enough with this that I built an app for it, happy to share in comments if anyone's interested, but mostly I want to know how others handle this.
