Hypertension research study (with incentive, detailed in information sheet)
Hi everyone,
Just before starting, I would like to say that I have been granted moderator approval to post this.
I am a master’s student (MRes in Human Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Leicester) currently conducting a research study looking at psychological acceptance, lifetime adversity, and medication adherence in people with hypertension. You may recognise this post as I advertised this study a couple of weeks ago, but we had some issues with botted results so I have to post it again, feel free to complete it again if you are a real human!!!
I’m looking for adults (18+) who have been diagnosed with hypertension and prescribed appropriate medication to complete a short online survey. It should take around 10–15minutes, however there is no maximum time, so take as long as you want! Just make sure to read the information sheet and consent form carefully for all the information. There is a small reward as a thank you for taking part.
Some questions touch on potentially sensitive personal experiences, so please only take part if you feel comfortable doing so. Also, it is important to note that this study had been granted ethical approval by my university’s ethics committee. The questions involve box ticking and do not require elaboration.
Thanks a lot for your time, I really appreciate it. Should you choose to participate, you will be contributing to important research in such an important field.
I am happy to answer any questions (though the information sheet prior to the consent form should answer any of these).
