is Nordheim Court worth doing

Guys, I am an exchange student from edinburgh and I am thinking to apply accom there as they offer an academic term(9 months) with a good price. Its furnished and everything looks fine except the incident that happened last month (stabbing).

I am thinking, have they improved their security after the incident happened, or will they? I don't want to risk my life for just a lower price, but also it is really appealing imo.

Any advice would be great, or any other great off-campus apartment recommended would be great
