Got a speeding ticket for the first time

Not here to complain, im at fault. I got pulled over for doing 18 over, 53 in a 35. I have a clean record and a clean drivers license aswell. What are my options going forward? I did some searching and saw that traffic school is an option for reducing points and prevents your insurance from going up? I also saw that you shouldnt plead guilty and instead you can negotiate? Im not too sure what the process is so any help or insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
