Senior passengers?

My husband and I are in our early 70's and are ambulatory. I am short, 5'3", so climbing into a truck is not pretty. We just received an email from Uber telling us we can identify as seniors in the Uber app. What would be the advantage to that? When we confirm the Uber driver, I always send a message describing what we are wearing and where we are to help the driver find us.
