Hey everyone, happy 6th birthday to JustPlay! 🎂

I wanted to share my story because, quite honestly, I owe an immense amount of gratitude to this app and the team behind it. This isn't just a casual app for me; it has been an absolute lifeline for my family during the hardest chapter of our lives.

📉 The Backstory: Losing Everything

Back in March, my world was completely turned upside down. I unexpectedly lost my job, and shortly after, we lost our home. Suddenly, we didn't even know where we were going to live. I went from having a steady, predictable routine to staring into complete uncertainty, terrified because I didn't know where our next dollar was going to come from or where we would lay our heads.

🛒 How JustPlay Stepped In

During this incredibly dark period of being displaced and trying to piece our lives back together, I started using JustPlay. The small income I managed to make from playing games and watching ads went directly toward survival.

Instead of treating myself to something fun, my rewards turned into keeping our essential bills paid and putting food on the table. When I had no other income, JustPlay was quite literally how I kept my family fed.

🔑 Today: A New Apartment & A New Job!

I’m writing this post today from a place of immense relief and joy. Things have completely turned around. Not only do we finally have a brand-new apartment, but I just started my new job!

I’ve attached a few photos below to show the journey. I included a picture of me heading out to Fairview for this new chapter, alongside the groceries sitting on the counters of our new home. Going from not knowing where we would live to seeing a full fridge and stepping into a brand-new job is a feeling I can't even describe.

❤️ Why It Matters

What sets JustPlay apart—and why I feel compelled to share this—is that they genuinely give back to their users. Most mobile games pocket 100% of their ad revenue and give the players nothing. JustPlay doesn't have to share their revenue, but they choose to.

To the developers and the team: You have no idea how much your business model impacts real-life families when they hit rock bottom. When we lost everything and were just trying to survive, your app helped us get through to the other side.

Thank you for doing what you do, and thank you for giving back when it mattered most. 🙏
