How bad is it if I read my talk?
I'm getting ready to give my first talk in church in a few weeks. I'm a bit nervous (and excited!). I've been practicing so I'm familiar with it, and have been practicing looking up, but I'm worried I'll lose my confidence day of and end up reading my talk. Would that be so bad? I'm trying to be a bit vulnerable with what I share (within my comfort range and what's appropriate), and not looking at the attendees might be easier than looking at them. I don't want to embarrass myself.
