Is plastic surgery super common now?

Discussion

It seems like so many women are getting plastic surgery or breast implants now. I was amazed back when I was 16 and my coworker got breast implants for her 18th birthday, but now about 10 years later it seems super common? Like I work with about 10 women and 3 of them have breast implans and other ones have plastic surgery, but I also know many coworkers from previous jobs that got plastic surgery, and these aren't some influencers or rich people, just regular retail/manufacturing workers many making not much more than minimum wage, is it just the affects of social media?

I really stated thinking about this because I came across a past coworker the other day and she looks completely different now, back when I worked with her literally every guy wanted her and now she looks completely different and a lot worse in my opinion, completely fake looking lips, breast etc, she had multiple plastic surgeries and she is only 25, like I understand this stuff as you get older but people are getting them as soon as they turn 18 now?
