Any fellow balkans in here, or anyone that enjoys balkan food

I am 10 days post op. Wondering if I'm really never going to be able have burek again or bread with meals. Obviously I know it cant be exactly the same as before but atleast some version of it? All of the suggestions given by my program are American foods which is fine and understandable but I dont want to give up my cultural food forever either
