health sciences to nursing

has anyone started out in health science and then transferred to nursing? I am considering both the one year and two year ADN options. I currently have a toddler so I know either way it’ll be hard.. but that’s why I’m planning to do health sciences this fall, get as many coreqs done as I can, and apply in February for the fall start (if it’s the 2 year I end up doing).

For Health Science I’m hoping I can just start with A&P 1/2, Microbiology, and the 2 Psychs to knock those out. Are these typically online? I’m a full time employee right now and probably will be until the nursing program starts.

Any advice would really help. I’ve been back and forth for years on starting nursing school and I’m just desperate to make it happen for myself and my baby 😣 I always get so discouraged
