Hormonal changes + questions
F20 and I miscarried my angel a few months back. Whilst the mourning is awful enough it seems I've had some hormonal sense. Please forgive me if I explain this wrong or say anything, I don't remember much of the miscarry itself or the hospital visit due to me pushing it out of my brain and coping unhealthily.
When I found out I was pregnant, about 2 weeks later I started spotting. I expressed to the people around me that I think I need to go to the hospital, but people were also telling me that can be common. The same night it just all happened at once, I was cramping so severely and bleeding and almost passing out. I went to the hospital and they did the needed tests which showed (the part I'm not sure if I remember correctly) that my hormones were all over the place which they labeled as me just miscarrying.
Anyways, I got my first period after my miscarry and it was much more painful than my previous ones, and it's been that way sense. I have naturally clear skin, I've never struggled with acne, but my back and my face are covered now. I'm more emotional and sensitive to words, feelings, sounds, textures, etc. My appetite has been a mess. And my bowel movements have been a mess.
Wondering if anyone else struggled with this? My mother told me that pregnancy shoved my body into womanhood so those hormonal changes are normal, and my body may just be like this now. I don't feel any life threatening or concerning symptoms or I wouldn't be posting here and I'd be consulting a doctor. Though, I do have a doctor's appointment in three weeks and plan on bringing this up if need be.
Skip this part if feel needed, I have a lot of questions about this and currently have no support in my life that understands it, reading people's views that went through the same thing I did really helps.
How do you know when you're ready again? How do you wait patiently to try again when you're ready when you're already so attached to the idea of being pregnant now? And what are the small ways, if any that you honor your lost baby? I kept my pregnancy tests, my baby is in my heart forever. But I am so sad that I couldn't give this baby a life. I want to return my love to them, I feel like that would help me heal a little. What is your number one advice for miscarriages in general?
