Bye bye!!

I quit this week and I’m glad I won’t have to deal with inconsistent hours from corporate anymore. My timing is ironic cause we got a whole bunch of hours right AFTER I put in my two weeks. Working at my location was wonderful, and I love the community and coworkers that is fostered there but corporate ruined it with their demands hand in hand with how little hours they were giving the team. We have people who are technically employed but only get scheduled once a month. There had been multiple pay periods where I could only cover rent, and that’s all. I didn’t have a steady flow of income, which made eating and paying other bills damn near Impossible without having to rely on the people around me. thank god I have a support network, I am very grateful for them. But imagine if I didn’t have that blessing? advice for anyone looking to work at Michael’s, it is a transitional job at best. You would get steady income during the holidays, but don’t count on consistency. All that said, good riddance.
