Hospice nursing

To all the hospice nurses out there. How is it. Do you love it. What did you do before hospice. And how did you get into it.

I’ve been an ICU nurse for almost a year and absolutely hate it. The dread I feel having a 90 something year old full code who has no quality of life and the doctors refuse to have realistic conversations or get palliative involved…I’m struggling. I’ve been looking into hospice but I’m not sure what it really entails.
