How do I come out?

I have come out 2 or 3 times before to my parents when I was 12/13 but they always shut down the idea because they thought it was a phase and I was too young. I’m 17 now and I’ve only come out to my close friends and prefer to stay stealth around new people in my life. My only problem is my parents. I know my mam won’t have a huge issue with it but my dad is the real problem since his side of the family is quite homophobic. I already don’t have an amazing relationship with him and I don’t want coming out to make it worse. Any advice?
