Best baby monitor

Hi! First time mom to a 6 month old and I read that this was their sweet spot to start transitioning them into their own crib/room to avoid attachment problems later. I’m still unsure about it but my husband thinks it’s a good idea so I’m trying to find the perfect baby monitor to put in her room that will alert me if she starts crying. We currently have a Philips avent baby monitor that we use during nap times but I’m not the biggest fan of it. The reason I don’t like it is because I feel like I have to watch the monitor like a hawk because it doesn’t do a good job at alerting me when she’s awake. We have a ring camera that we can put but I read other reddit reviews that said it wasn’t good. If there are other anxious parents out there who have accomplished having their baby sleep in a different room successfully, plssss let me know what yall recommend!! Thank you!!!
