What's something you wish you knew sooner about Irvine?

I've been spending more time around Irvine recently and it seems like every city has those little things you only figure out after you've been there for a while.

I've been doing a bit of homework before getting to know the area better, reading old Reddit threads and checking out streetsmart to get a better sense of different neighborhoods, but I'd rather hear from people who actually live here.

It could be a neighborhood that grew on you, a place you wish you'd found earlier or just something that made living here easier. What's one thing you wish someone had told you sooner?
