MG4 (2023) binding issue - i’m at my wits end (UK)

I bought my first car last month. When I viewed it (a 2023 MG4) at the dealership, I checked to see if it was unbound. It was and I successfully bound it. When it was delivered, it was unbound and since then, I have been unable to bind it. I can log in on both the MG iSmart app and the infotainment screen, both QR code and email/password methods work for it. But come to scanning the QR code to bind it, absolutely nothing. I pulled the phone further away and nothing. I moved it closer and eventually it became blurry, so no luck there either I googled it and it gave suggestions like to make sure the privacy notice is agreed to, along with the bottom three checked. It wasn’t that. I saw another suggestion that it might be the dark mode interfering somehow. That made sense, but that wasn’t the issue either.

I for the life of me cannot figure out how to solve this. I am frustrated even more because of the heatwave lol and I would rather not have to pay £179 at the local MG dealership just to sort out something so minor. At this point, I beg for your help. Please fellow MG drivers 🙏. I cannot figure it out. It would be much appreciated.
