Any ideas how to make up for magickal wrongdoings
I am not new, but consistently over the past 15 years, there are concepts that puzzle me.
Eventually I've come to realise that this is a product of me dragging the past with me, in which I have done a fair share of very morally questionable witchcraft choices.
I just started last year to take my practice seriously and respectfully, due to working with entities (accountability, yay).
Now I'm reading books on various topics and every day it just stands out more and more that I cannot wrap my head around simple things like cleansing and protection. Especially cleansing and protection.
Because I feel like I don't deserve them. Because the habit in me says 'not needed, we can just throw a glamour or be manipulative etc.'
I have ways to deconstruct habits, but this guilt...it's organic. Even if I get rid of the emotion or rationalising, I am a follower of the belief that what we do somehow becomes a part of our physical body (partially due to my culture/ethnicity, so that's not something I'm willing to stop believing).
So theoretically if I wanted to balance out bad stuff in the world which I've done (not in myself/not karma), how would I do this?
Do I need a working for every specific occasion I've done something stupid? Because the cleansing point of view seems to lead there..... but logistically?
