Which football game should I get for a new player

Hey, I'm new. I heard FC 2026 had negative reviews, but I also heard it's a pretty good game with mods. I'm not looking to buy yearly football games. I only care about offline aspects and with mods you can keep games alive forever

Should I buy 2026 or another game which do you guys recommend?
