Strabismus surgery in 10 days — anxiety hit hard

Hey everyone. I have strabismus surgery scheduled in about 10 days. For the past month I felt pretty calm about it, but once the date got closer and I learned a few more details about the procedure, the anxiety hit hard.

Has anyone else experienced fear that spiked specifically as the surgery date approached, or after learning more details? How did you deal with it in the final days before?
