Not caring too much about "kid's things"

Advice

I find I don't have too much interest in like old toys or shows or anything when regressed. I see a lot of people who love to regress and makes its then easier for them to engage in nostalgic things, but for me I've never really cared about that for what it is. i.e. i would watch an old cartoon, but not because I'm actually interested in that cartoon but because it makes the headspace feel more "real" if that makes sense. I would color, but maybe not because I want to color terribly badly, but because it's a kid's activity, and maybe I'd even color outside the lines on purpose to feel more like a kid. I find that a large part of me regressing is based on it feeling as natural and like I'm a real kid as possible, and so I'm drawn to anything that can help enhance that feeling. Like Sucking my thumb makes me *feel* younger but I don't actually care that much about sucking my thumb sensory wise. I daydream a lot about being able to be seen as and be a real little kid again, for coping with starting to become an adult, dysphoria, and not having a childhood I wish I had. I both voluntarily regress and involuntarily regress occasionally when I'm dysphoric, and I regress to around 3 or 4 give or take. Everything else that usually comes with regression I got, heightened emotions, needing a caregiver bc I feel like I can't manage myself. But when it comes to behaviors, even things like changing how I talk, it's something that I do on purpose as a response to feeling/wanting to feel little little rather than a part of the whole thing automatically. It's the headspace itself and the need of a connection to a caregiver in a childlike state that I feel are really real and actually do the coping/healing. Anyway yeah I just wanted to see if anyone felt similar or noticed similar with themselves.
