Help pick my resort

Okay, need help deciding because there’s too many options. We are looking for a mid level resort.

Me and BF 25F 30M are going to Mexico in December.

Things I care about:
-some activities or parties but also somewhere to relax
-romance!
- big tub or hot tub on balcony would be a bonus.
- adults only
-do not want to be the only mid-late 20s couple there.

Non negotiable:
- a variety of food options and edible food.
- clean rooms/pool area

Breathless riviera Cancun - 2079$
Paradisus La Perla playa del Carmen(NOT reserve) - 2059$

Unfortunately we can’t afford valentin, excellence or most of the secrets resorts with flights included, which is necessary. We are hoping for under 5000$ total with flights included.
