How does your man take care of you when you're sick?

I have a severe stomach bug: diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain, and a fever. I had absolutely no energy. I spent most of the day in bed without eating anything. Even the smallest effort, like going to the bathroom, took a lot out of me.

My husband came home in the evening. He brought me some fruit purée to eat, gave me a kiss, and brought me some water. After that, I wanted a change of scenery and went into the living room. He was there and told me to leave him alone, saying I was "getting on his nerves" (literally, "busting his balls") and that he'd already done plenty for me. I asked him if he could make me some rice, but he refused. Are all men like this? Am I asking for too much?
